• The surface where the carpet is being laid should be clean and even to avoid undue wear. Underlay can be used on uneven floors.
• Ensure that the carpet used in one area should belong same production batch.
• The soilage of the carpet would determine the cleaning procedure. Vacuum cleaning is recommended. Brushing can be done in case of non availability of vacuum cleaner.
• Stain should be attended immediately, before it penetrates and dries up.
• Absorbent cloth can be used for split liquids. Use blunt Knife or even spoon can be used for cleaning of semi-solids and greasy substances.
